The book I read was one of the Nancy Drew mystery stories called The Thirteenth Pearl by Carolyn Keene. Something I like about this story is the tension and how the author really shows how the character is feeling and emotion in the writing. My favorite character from The Thirteenth Pearl is Nancy, this is because she is the person that really brings everyone together. One of her character traits is resourceful because she can really use every bit of information and figure it out, some evidence from the text is, “‘Good for you! Maybe the police can identify this person.’” This shows that she can be resourceful because she is using the bit of information she has to help figure out the mystery. My favorite quote from the story would be, “he’s slipping a pearl off that woman’s neck!” I like this quote because it holds so much relief and meaning to the characters because of all the struggle they went through to figure out.

a few summers ago me and my dads side of the family went to Hawaii. It was so fun we were on a cruise ship and every day we went to a new place and got to go explore that part of the island we were on. The first 3 days we just stayed on the boat and swam around in the pool there were a few places to eat on the boat but the place we went to the most was the buffet, a few of the nights we went to one of the fancier restaurants and it was so fun. the next few days where really fun and we went to see a volcano that had hardened and we got to walk on it it was really cool and sparkly. There was also a part of the volcano where it is steamy and you can stand over and it is nice and warm. Next we just walked around the island and went on a tour we mad little fish out of dried grass. The next day was pretty much the same we saw a bunch of shows and more tours. Then we spent the whole day at this beautiful botanical garden where my mom set up a scavenger hunt and at the end there was a little splash pad and pool to swim and cool off in. We went on a helicopter on a tour of the waterfalls. On the last few days on the island we went to a beach and there were a bunch of sea turtles, it was so cool and one of the best trips I’ve ever been on.

I would love to live in the universe of the movie Barbie. I would love to live there because it seems super fun and chill, you can basically be anyone you want and have anything you want. This seems fun to me because you would have so much freedom and there’s even a way to the real world. Even though it is a dream world you still go to work and school but it a little different you can choose what you want to be and it’s basically a guarantee you will get the job! This helps give you the real world experience you will need when you make the trip over there. those are the reasons why I would want to live in the Barbie movie world.

If I could design my own house it would be a big cabin in Yosemite. My dream house would be a big cozy cabin in the woods at Yosemite national falls. I love it there especially in the winter time all the pine trees and snow are just the prettiest. It would have a big master bedroom, plus a twin room there would be five regular bed rooms. and a big living room with the biggest window ever connecting to the kitchen. a big balcony and the best view. The fire would be burning and kids would be sledding. There would be a green house just out side the back door filled with loads of flowers and beautiful plants. The dining room would be a gorgeous modern looking room with the most lovely chandelier. There would be butlers and maids for the cleaning, plus a giant pool and hot tub there would be a spa and a game room plus a movie theater. That’s what my dream house would look like what about you?

My favorite meal would be fettuccini Alfredo or lasagna my grandparents parents were both in Italy and i absolutely love it. Italian food is my the best in my opinion especially fettuccini Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce is so creamy and cheesy like an explosion of flavor in each bit you take with the perfect sized noodles and all the yummy seasonings.

If I could travel anywhere in the world it wold be Italy. I would go to Italy because I went there last summer and it was so pretty it was unreal. The reason I would go there again is because our trip was so awesome but to be honest I didn’t really want to go and me and my sister were not alway the happiest but now I realize how amazing and pretty it is. Our last trip was so perfect, we first went to Rome and saw a bunch of beautiful fountains, statues, and just roamed the streets of Rome. then we went to Florence were we met up with all my 35 uncles and 31 aunts plus a bunch of my cousins and rented a giant villa on a hill for a week there was a little farm, a huge beautiful pool, a bird cage with hamsters. It was a giant house that literally looked like a castle and our room was the best it had a down stairs with a couch and tv then beautiful marble stairs up to a twin room for me and my sister and a master bed room for my parents we got a private chef every night and we even found a hedgehog! Then we went to Naples and Sicily were there are the most beautiful beaches and overall it was the best trip I had ever gone on and in wish I could re do it. I definitely recommend going there if you have the chance. Where would you go?

Jake is a tabby and Cosmo in a seal point Siamese. We are currently looking for one more animal to complete our family. I am 12 years old and my sister is 9.
